Think Pink!

At Rock the Day we know how to throw a great children party, especially when we’re talking Princesses!  We will make sure your child’s birthday has the most magical ‘instagrammable’ backdrop decorations in town, ensuring your child feels like the star of the show!

But lets start from the beginning…

Invitations – you can find the cutest themed invitations on Etsy or other websites where you can simply download, print or send online with RSVP – its so easy!

Then it’s time to think about the location… we recommend an outdoor party, so a garden or private woods would do the trick!

Create an enchanted Welcome area, where you can safely keep your cute party bags for later. Look at our welcome area from our newest “Once Upon a Pink Dream” collection for modern princesses here

How about pretty little princesses all dressed up in blush pink tutu skirts? Doesn’t that sound wonderful! – every little girls dream? To top it off, hire gold sequinned capes with magic wands!

Create a dressing up corner for your party using a clothes rail for tutu skirts and capes, decorated with blush pink, rose gold and a nude balloon garland and cute a little basket to keep all the magic wands safe.

Once all your little princesses are dressed up and ready for fun, invite them to the our magical pink castle photobooth with two towers decorated with balloons and a pink tulle curtain – let them strike a pose and snap! How about hiring a professional photographer to capture all of that magic! We highly recommend Fairweather Photography – Stephanie is a real star when it comes to catching all those precious moments!

Now I bet your little darlings are getting hungry!

At Rock the Day we created a perfect Princesses table set up with beautiful tableware by Meri Meri, taking care with all the pretty details, we even crafted bespoke doughnut stands to match the theme! Pink glazed doughnuts, marshmallow and cupcakes decorated with delicious macaroons – these sound so yummy to please even the most fussy Princess! 

Again, a giant balloon garland suspended above the low seating and grazing area would look awesome! Please see the inspo here

Birthday cake station and pink lemonade? Yes, please!

All sweet things scattered all over a pastel pink table decorated with a tulle skirt and sparkly chandeliers suspended above it, sounds amazing eh? with a soft pink velvet vintage chair to rest the Princess’s tired feet, relax for a while, chilling and drinking pink lemonade! Cheers!

Now it’s time for some more fun! Let the little darlings enjoy “Pin the crown on the frog” game and get a Bubble machine to blow lots of bubbles around!
